For videos already uploaded to Kaltura MyMedia.

  1. Login to Blackboard
  2. Select Tools from the menu
  3. Then choose Kaltura MyMedia
  4. Navigate to the video, then select Edit (pencil icon next to the video title)
  5. Choose the Captions tab
  6. Select the Upload captions file
  7. Browse computer for the caption file and then open
  8. Set the language
  9. Add a label (not required)
  10. Save

For videos not already uploaded:

  1. Login to Blackboard
  2. Select Tools from the menu
  3. Then choose Kaltura MyMedia
  4. Select Add New, then select Media Upload
  5. Drag and drop the video file or select Choose a file to upload and browse computer for video file
  6. Edit video title (default title is file name)
  7. Set Publishing Status
  8. Click Save
  9. Select Go to Media from the menu
  10. Click on Actions then select Edit
  11. Choose the Captions tab
  12. Select the Upload captions file
  13. Browse computer for the caption file and then open
  14. Set the language
  15. Add a label (not required)
  16. Save
