Grammarly

Grammarly supports auditory learners, students with learning disabilities, students with autism and those where English is a second language.

Grammarly for Students

Grammarly uses generative AI to help you write, rewrite, ideate, and reply with simple prompts or even at the click of a button. It provides support where you need it (i.e., mobile, web, and desktop applications). To access a free version, visit the Grammarly website opens a new window. The free version includes basic writing support, compatibility with multiple platforms, and limited generative AI support.

Grammarly for Professionals

Grammarly also offers benefits for working professionals. In addition to offering basic supports like checking grammar and fixing typos, you can also generate a first draft, then make it shorter, simpler, persuasive, empathetic—whatever you need to get your work done quickly and efficiently.

How can I get access to Grammarly?

The paid version of Grammarly includes additional features like increased AI support, plagarism checking, etc. The ATI has a limited number of these licenses available.

At this time, the licenses are only available to those members of the Mason community (faculty, staff, and students) who are approved for accommodations (i.e., through DS or ADA Coordinator). To request access to a paid account, please contact the ATI Main Office at [email protected].
