Use YouTube’s auto captioning for a DIY alternative.  Auto captioning will have error’s and can be edited after they are created.

  1. Login to YouTube
  2. Navigate to Your Channel
  3. Then select YouTube Studio
  4. Click on Videos
  5. Select a video
  6. Choose Subtitles
  7. Under Video subtitle, click on the options button next to Published Automatic
  8. Select Edit on Classic Studio
  9. Click on Edit
  10. Make corrections to the captions
  11. After corrections are made, click Save changes
